You know you should have a business plan but the thought of putting one together is overwhelming. So you try to convince yourself that having one really isn't necessary. I mean if Google didn't have one...
But there is this little voice in your head saying, "But maybe if I had a business plan, I wouldn't be so all over the place. Maybe I could find more focus and spend less time chasing things that don't work."
Fortunately, unless you are seeking investors, business plans aren't complicated like they used to be. Short and to the point, the new version of business plans are faster to create and easier to use than ever.
My new virtual workshop is designed to help you think through the critical questions, organize your thoughts around your business, and focus your activities for results. All within 5 days.
Read on for a look at what I'll teach you in this business plan reboot. This is definitely not your father's business plan.
VIRTUAL WORKSHOP FORMAT:
I'm leading this virtual workshop in a live webinar format so you can ask questions and get feedback through each session. We will meet every day for 5 days (January 7 - January 11) at Noon ET. The virtual meetings will last about 1 hour where we will cover an overview of the day's topics, get instructions, and go through the homework.
Your total investment for the program will be approximately 8 - 9 hours over the course of the week plus $20.19 (in honor of the year 2019!).
Recordings and materials will be made available to everyone who registers. So, if you miss a day, you can still complete the work.
We'll start the workshop by reinforcing why business plans are critical to your success. We'll then move on to your High Level Business Concept and your Brand Promise.
The Product/Service Quadrant
In this lesson, we'll look at the problem you are solving and how you are helping your customers resolve it in a bold way.
The Audience Quadrant
This goes way beyond who you can help and focuses on who you really want to serve.
The Marketing Quadrant
This is all about the Promotion piece of the 4 Ps of marketing. Now that you know who you want to serve, how are you going to reach them?
The Business Quadrant
Without a solid business model, you really have more of a hobby than a business. As we wrap up the workshop, we'll take a look at success metrics and financial projections (including your annual budget) to make sure your model makes sense.
